Electric Motorcycle: 400 horsepower, 600 pounds, 1 dufus

The state of the art KillaCycle lives up to it's name. It does 0-60 mph in .97 seconds. 0 - "oh sh&%" even faster. Ridiculous. BTW it cost about $40,000 to make... not bad R&D really. I can't wait for the future. BTW where's my jetpack already?

omgomgomgomgomgomg... salt water fuel

I think this is for real. I only hope it doesn't get bought and stored in a secret lock-box to be lost to obscurity. It is the job of bloggers and countrymen to make it not so.

Everyone should see this and know Naomi Klein's name

Diesel Motorcycle... Deux!

This one breaks land speed records (130 mph plus). And it was made RIGHT next to me in Oakland, CA. I feel like I missed the opportunity to be involved in my own life because I didn't know about it til now... You ever feel that way?

Hit up The Crucible. They are a rad organization that I know I will be getting down with. Welding, fab, glass, jewelry, FIRE-BLOWING... for reals.

9/11 approaches...

Let's think about the loss, and why it really happened. I'll be keeping a keen eye on the media for their take on the anniversary.

...yes, that is a controlled demolition cut you see above.

Something I've been obsessed with lately: Diesel Motorcycles

There has always been a "steampunk" tradition for this type of thing - homebrewed and SLOW AS H-E-double-hockey-sticks. But now there are some real industrial types getting them off the ground building awesome TORQUE-MONSTERS:

Thunder Star 1200 Diesel by Star Twin

Uses a Euro 3 cylinder VW TDI engine, JAMS with CAD-developed cases and transmission to make the fastest EVER. Sweet. Can you say BIODIESEL motorcycle with 100 mpg and 120 mph top speed? RAD.

Couple other DIESEL bikes that rock:

Neander Turbo 1400

HDT Bulldog

Let the Games begin!

Right back to the distractionaries: IRAN=IRAQ 4 FOX

The most frightening thing is, most Americans have NO defense aginast this kind of constant propaganda... they will believe without knowing why. Kill your TV. Read a book. An eternally potent statement (until TV is antiquated and replaced with something like "HG" - Hologravision... or something). Anyways, be afraid and spread the word. Fearmongering's worst enemy is oppositional anger. The sedentary U.S couch-troopers see it and begin to think.

And now for a product I invented without knowing how to make it...

It's called the Zink® and it's a digital polariod, uses no ink, has a 7 MP camera and a 2" screen. It's EVEN smaller than a traditional Polaroid... duh. I wonder if it makes as cool a noise as the Polaroid?

It's a super cool DC local TV show and it ROCKS the HOUSE (& mountain) because it's about kids has rad music (Jenny Lewis, Arcade Fire, et al) and Henry Rollins was on there. Nuf said.
